What it taught me
An internal tool has a captive audience who cannot switch away, which makes bad interface decisions expensive in a way a public site never quite is.
Sitting between a sales team and a database taught me to ask what someone is trying to decide, not what fields they want on the screen.
This is where the product thinking came from — before any of the media systems work, and it is the reason I read a stream as an experience rather than a pipeline.
Worth adding if you have itA screenshot of the CRM or a dashboard with client data removed, and any figure you can stand behind for the sales increase — a number with a scope attached is worth more here than the phrase “contributed to a sharp increase”.
